Armstrong F&T Steam Trap, Model 15-B2, 1/2″ pipe, 15 psi

Armstrong float & thermostatic model 15-B2 1/2″pipe 15lb maximum operating pressure, capacity,230 pounds per hour. Armstrong float and thermostatic traps are recommended for: modulating pressures where widlely varying loads are present, and pressures vary from maximum to vacuum. They are a good choice for their ability to vent air at very low pressures, handle start up air loads, and operate against back pressure. The Armstrong inverted bucket trap would be a better selection for: resistance to hydraulic shock, damage from freezing, and ability to handle dirt. The Armstrong 1/2″ “B” Series Float & thermostatic trap allows steam to enter from one side of the trap, and discharge the same side of the trap. The 1/2″ “B” Series cast iron trap has a maximum operating pressure of 15 psi and comes standard with a stainless steel internal parts. The “B” Series are continuous drainage and are designed for low and medium pressure steam mains. The 1/2″ “B” Series has same side inlet to outlet center-to-center dimension of 2-3/4″, a height of 4-1/2″ and a weight of 6lbs.
