Armstrong inverted bucket traps operate via a simple leverage system that uses the weight of the bucket to open the valve against pressure. The inverted bucket has only two moving parts which means no complicated linkages to bind or clog. The Armstrong 813 horizontal line inverted trap allows steam to enter from one side of the trap, and the condensate to discharge from the opposite side of the trap. The 813 cast iron trap has a maximum operating pressure of 250 psi and comes standard with a stainless steel bucket. The 813 has a inlet to outlet dimension of 7-3/4″, a height of 11-3/4″ and a weight of 27-1/2 lbs.
