Spirax Sarco industrial thermostatic traps are recommended for: low to high pressure two pipe heating systems, radiators, convectors, sterilizers, laundry and kitchen equipment, steam kettlestracer lines,small process equipment, where air handling is critical. They handle steam, air, and condesate by pressure and temperature to open and close the diaphragm or bellows. This thermostatic element expands when steam is present to close the trap, and contracts when the cooler air or condensate is present to open the trap which allows the condensate to drain. The Spirax Sarco thermostatic trap has cast bronze body available in angle, vertical, or straight pattern.
