Spirax-Sarco Pressure Pilot Actuator 20-100lb

Spirax-Sarco pressure pilot 20-100lb., used in combination with 25 series main valves. Spirax-Sarcos pressure pilots open and close the main valve by sensing steam flow through them. The pilot valves are controlled by a pressure spring that comes in three pressure ranges: 3 to 30lbs., 20 to 100lbs., and 80 to 250lbs. These pressures are adjustable within their ranges by a adjustment nut on top of the pilot. The pilot has a downstream sensing line which tells the valve to put more pressure on the main valves diaphragm to open and allow more steam to pass, as the demand is met, to then decrease the pressure, which relieves the pressure on the main valve diaphragm causing it to thottle to the close position.
