Spirax-Sarco “C” Thermotons are liquid expansion thermostatic devices which regulate the temperature of condensate discharged from a steam coil, tracer or vessel thereby functioning as both a temperature regulator and a steam trap. There are four ranges of bellows availiable. When the condensate reaches one of these temperatures the heated liquid causes the bellows to expand closing the valve. A relief spring prevents damage from over-expansion and waterhammer. Used for outdoor storage tanks, and steam tracing lines.
