Sloan Optima SF2100-4-CT Sensor Operated Electronic Hand Washing Faucet for manual adjusted hot/cold water operation at the supply valves. 4″ center deck plate, with Bak-Check tee, 6 volt plug-in transformer and battery back-up. Sloans Optima electric or battery operated faucets are hands free units that open and close the supply of water through a concealed control valve. The water supply is piped into this control valve and the valve operates by means of a fiber optic beam that sends a signal to this control valve to open or close a solenoid valve. When a user places their hands under the spout the beam is then activated to signal the valve. The unit uses a plug-in 6 volt box transformer or (4) AA-size batteries. The tempering or blending of hot and cold water can be done by installing a mixing valve ahead of the control valve.
