Sloan Optima Sensor Battery Operated Royal Urinal flush valve. 8186-0.5, .5 gallons per flush, 3/4″ IPS screwdriver angle stop check, 3/4″ tailpiece, 11-1/2″ from the center of the supply to the top of the fixture, with (4) AA batteries. Sloans Optima Battery Sensor operated Royal flush valve for top spud urinals with, self adaptive infrared sensor, vandal resistant free spinning stop cap, dual-filtered by-pass diaphragm assembly and high back pressure vacuum breaker flush connections, sensor and batteries enclosed within the top cover. Operation: A continuous invisible light beam is emitted from the sensor, as the user enters the beams range (15″ to 30″) the beam is reflected into the scanner window and transformed into a low voltage electrical circuit which activates a “hold” mode as long as the user remains in the range of the sensor, as the user steps out of the beam range the circuit waits 3 seconds then initiates an electrical “one-time” signal that activates the solenoid beginning the flush cycle, it then automatically resets the light beam. Battery life 3 years at 4,000 flushes per month.
