Mepco straight pattern industrial thermostatic trap model TH1A 1/2″pipe 100lb maximum operating pressure, capacity 2,600lbs per hour. Mepco industrial thermostatic traps are recommended for: high pressure, sterilizers, laundry and kitchen equipment, steam kettlestracer lines,l process equipment, where air handling is critical. They handle steam, air, and condesate by pressure and temperature to open and close the diaphragm or bellows. This thermostatic element expands when steam is present to close the trap, and contracts when the cooler air or condensate is present to open the trap which allows the condensate to drain. The Mepco thermostatic trap has cast bronze body available in angle or straight pattern.
