B&G Model SDG-3 is a 3″ Grooved (system side) x 3″ Flanged (pump side) Suction Diffuser/Strainer. Cast iron body rated 175 psi maximum. Weight is 40 lbs. Suction diffusers orifice cylinder serves as a pump strainer with more free area than conventional strainers to provide ideal flow conditions for the pump to meet your NPSH requirments. A built-in magnet protects the pump from metallic particles.
