Bell & Gossett 110134 Bronze Relief Valve, 1170-100, 1″ IPF, 100 psi Water

1170-100 bronze hot water relief valve. Angle pattern with 1″inlet x 1″ outlet set at 100 PSI and 3,060,000 BTU capacity. Cast iron or Bronze safety relief valves are designed for fired and unfired hot water pressure vessels to protect against overpressure conditions. The cast iron models are used for hot water heating boilers and the bronze can be used on direct fired water heaters or storage tanks with indirect heaters to match the BTU loads of the heat exchangers. The maximum pressure is 125 PSI and temperature of 250 degrees F.
