B&G part number 186874 is a complete coupler assembly 1-1/4″ x 1-5/8″. Used on 1510 series 20HP 256T frame and 40 HP with 286TS frame. Pump couplings (a.k.a. pump couplers) connect the motor shaft to the pump shaft. When the pump coupler “breaks” or wears quickly it is most likely an indication that the pumping shaft and motor shaft are out of alignment.
