Barnes & Jones straight pattern industrial thermostatic trap model 2PW 1/2″pipe 250lb maximum operating pressure, capacity 10,000lbs per hour. Barnes & Jones industrial thermostatic traps are recommended for: high pressure, sterilizers, laundry and kitchen equipment, steam kettles, tracer lines, process equipment, and large mains where air handling is critical. They handle steam, air, and condesate by pressure and temperature to open and close the diaphragm or bellows. This thermostatic element expands when steam is present to close the trap, and contracts when the cooler air or condensate is present to open the trap which allows the condensate to drain. The Barnes & Jones thermostatic trap has cast iron body available in straight pattern.
