Barnes & Jones compact trap model D-2222, 1/4″pipe, 80lb maximum operating pressure, capacity 1,500lbs per hour. Barnes & Jones diaphragm actuated thermostatic traps are recommended for: high pressure sterilizers, laundry and kitchen equipment, steam kettles and tracer lines. They handle steam, air, and condesate by pressure and temperature to open and close the diaphragm. The thermostatic element expands when steam is present to close the trap, and contracts when the cooler air or condensate is present to open the trap, thereby allowing the condensate to drain. The Barnes & Jones compact trap is a sealed, disposable stainless steel body available in vertical pattern.
