Armstrong F&T Steam Trap, Model 15-B4, 1″ pipe, 15 psi

Armstrong float & thermostatic model 15-B4 1″pipe 15lb maximum operating pressure, capacity 575 pounds per hour. Armstrong float and thermostatic traps are recommended for: modulating pressures where widlely varying loads are present, and pressures vary from maximum to vacuum. They are a good choice for their ability to vent air at very low pressures, handle start up air loads, and operate against back pressure. The Armstrong inverted bucket trap would be a better selection for: resistance to hydraulic shock, damage from freezing, and ability to handle dirt. The Armstrong 1″ “B” Series Float & thermostatic trap allows steam to enter from one side of the trap, and the condensate to discharge from the opposite side or the same side of the trap. The 1″ “B” Series cast iron trap has a maximum operating pressure of 15 psi and comes standard with a stainless steel internal parts. The “B” Series are continuous drainage and are designed for low and medium pressure steam mains. The 1″ “B” Series has a inlet to outlet dimension of 4-7/8″ width for in and out opposite side,or, same side inlet to outlet center-to-center dimension of 3″, a height of 5-1/8″ and a weight of 8-1/2lbs.
