Armstrong Bucket Steam Traps, Model 882T, 3/4″ pipe, 30 psi

Armstrong bucket trap with integral strainer and thermic bucket model 882T 3/4″pipe 30lb maximum operating pressure,1/4″ orifice, capacity 2050 pounds per hour. Armstrong inverted bucket traps operate via a simple leverage system that uses the weight of the bucket to open the valve against pressure. The inverted bucket has only two moving parts which means no complicated linkages to bind or clog. The Armstrong 882T horizontal line inverted trap with thermic bucket and intergal stainer allows steam to enter from one side of the trap, and the condensate to discharge from the opposite side of the trap. The thermic bucket has a bi-metal air vent on the top rather than the standard “weep hole”,this allows for discharge of large amounts of air on start up. The 882T cast iron trap has a maximum operating pressure of 250 psi and comes standard with a stainless steel bucket. The 882T has a inlet to outlet dimension of 6-1/2″, a height of 9-3/8″ and a weight of 15-1/2lbs.
