Sterlings 5000 series boiler feed pump, duplex, rated to 400 boiler horsepower, 30lbs. operating pressure. 250 gallon steel receiver, 55 gpm, 1-1/2 HP, 3 phase. See options for mag.starters, control panels, electric solenoid operated make-up water valve in place of std.mech.float valve, thermometer and isolation valves. Sterling 5000 series boiler feed pump units are heavy-duty, high-capacity with horizontal 3/16″ steel tanks. Designed to collect return condensate from the steam system and return it to the boiler, with a standard mechanical make-up water valve, isolation valve and gauge glass. The boiler feed pump is controlled by a boiler controller that senses the boiler water level and sends a signal to the pump for water. Sterling boiler feed pumps are made in simplex (one pump) or duplex (two pumps). The pumps are bronze fitted and run at 3450 RPM.
