Spirax-Sarco F&T Steam Trap, Model FT-15, 1-1/2″ pipe, 15 psi

Spirax-Sarco float & thermostatic model FT15 1-1/2″pipe 15lb maximum operating pressure, capacity 7,600 pounds per hour. Spirax-Sarco float and thermostatic traps are recommended for: modulating pressures where widlely varying loads are present, and pressures vary from maximum to vacuum. They are a good choice for their ability to vent air at very low pressures, handle start up air loads, and operate against back pressure. The Spirax-Sarco inverted bucket trap would be a better selection for: resistance to hydraulic shock, damage from freezing, and ability to handle dirt. The Spirax-Sarco “FT” Series Float & thermostatic trap allows steam to enter on the cover end, and the condensate to discharge from the same end on the cover of the trap. the is an offset in the piping on the inlet and outlet. The “FT” Series cast iron trap has a maximum operating pressure of 200 psi and comes standard with a stainless steel internal parts. The “FT” Series are continuous drainage and are designed for low, medium and high pressure steam mains. The 1-1/2″ FT-15, has same end inlet to outlet center-to-center dimension of 3″, withan offset of 3/4″ center to center. a height of 8-1/2″, a depth of 8-1/2″ and a weight of 18lbs.
