Sloan Faucet ETF80-4P, 4″ Centers, AC/Sensor Operated Lavatory Faucet

Sloan Optima electric operated lavatory faucet model ETF80-4P. Sits on 4″ centers – Trim plate included. Discharges 0.5 gallons per minute. Includes back check tee for hot/cold supply and plug-in, 24 volt transformer. Sloans Optima electric operated faucets are hands free units that open and close the supply of water through a concealed control valve. The water supply is piped into this control valve and the valve operates by means of a fiber optic beam that sends a signal to this control valve to open or close a solenoid valve. When a user places their hands under the spout the beam is then activated to signal the valve. The unit uses a plug-in 24 volt transformer from any 120 volt wall receptacle.The faucet can be used as a hot or cold water faucet or both. The tempering or blending of hot and cold water can be done in a number of ways. First you can thottle the shut off valves, but that restricts the volume of water or you may use a mixing valve ahead of the control valve. Sloan also makes a On-Deck Temperature control valve which allows the user to adjust the temperature with a control knob next to the spout.
