HT-1 ” Threaded Hydrotrol Flow Control valve. Combination Straight or Angle pattern in iron body. Vertical or horizontal installation. Maximum 150 psi and 250F. Weight is 1.2lbs. Hydrotrol valves are used for preventing overheating of zones due to gravity flow in hydronic heating systems and to permit summer-winter operation of indirect water heaters. The HT valve allows fluid to pass when the pumps start. When the system or zone pumps are not operating they remain closed preventing gravity circulation.
