Number 288A, 3/4″IPF angle pattern bronze body vacuum breaker. For hot or cold water. Maximum pressure 125lbs, 180 degree F. This valve is designed to prevent back-siphonage of contaminated water into a potable water supply. Installed 6″ above the highest downstream point of water, it is ideal for continuous pressure.
